WHO AM I ?
My name is Mitch Amatrudo. I grew up in Branford,
CT. Moved to Trumbull, graduated from Trumbull High School class of '79,
and lived briefly in Guilford and Westbrook. Moved to Los Angeles in 1987
to try to be a rock star. You can view my musician bio
here.
Out there I lived
in Long Beach, Hollywood, and Burbank. I moved back to CT in 1995.
In 1996 I got hired as a Firefighter in Savannah, GA so I moved there. I
was there for 1 year then got hired by the East Hartford Fire Department so I
moved back to CT again in 1997. I met my beautiful wife Melissa while
living in Savannah. She was a Fire Dispatcher there. She and her now
17 year-old son AJ moved to CT with to be with me in 1997. We were married in
2000.
We live in Manchester, CT with our 2 cockatiels Raybert (Melissa is a big Everybody Loves Raymond fan) and Smokey. I am currently a Lieutenant with the East Hartford Fire Department, IAFF local 1548. I'm also just starting to try to get my voice-over and sound production business off the ground. I enjoy making music, working on our house and yard, camping and the outdoors, and working on cars. You can check out my '70 Plymouth Duster project here.
I'm always looking for a great rock or country band to drum in but I'm not interested unless you guys can sing great, consistent harmonies. I also might like to do an acoustic harmony vocal type lounge act at some point. If interested drop me a line at info@MitchAmatrudo.com
