The snow subsided about the time I picked up the park road after getting
Sweet Pea 2. I walked almost to the boat launch when I realized that I
pretty much had the entire park to myself. There was not a soul around, and
no cars as most of the entrances are closed. So when all alone in a large
state park I did what anyone would do. I lit a huge fire, stripped naked,
and danced around. No, no I didn’t do that. Just checking if anyone is
paying attention.
Thanks
for a fun morning of hiking. This is a great park.

TFTC a little tough to spot, looked for more than a half hour then spotted
it...took caribiner w flashlight on it & left some madi gra beads... Box was
all wet, everything inside (except the log book) was drenched, actually
dumped out a few ounces of water before replacing. :) Was a drizzly day out,
but nice hike!

Grabbed this one after getting #1 and deciding that with 2 kids with us
today we would forgo the Sweet Pea 2. Cache was quite visible from 30+ feet
away. TN, left Sodu-Q game and a Pirate. We rehid the cache in the same spot
just helped camo it a bit more. TFTC

A straight bushwhack from the road. I'm not sure I'd rate this for
beginners. We had no trouble finding the cache in the rain. Thanks.

SiminSue and I were stopping by to check out the campground when we saw this
cache. We figured why not grab a quick cache even if it was raining.
A bit far from the trail for a beginner cache. SiminSue
spotted it before me. We quickly signed the log in the rain and headed back
to the car.

My second found cache here. Still discovering this unexpected but very nice
area by bike (see
this log).
By chance I had the coorected coords given by Seether and Amazingted.
Next
cache visitors would certainly benefit some updated published coords by the
owner !
Very nice rocky area at the cache location!

Cache is still in-place and in good shape. I'm surprised at the lack of
interest in these 3 caches I have in this area. Thanks Creaky for trying to
clean it. I dried it and cleaned it up and it's ready for more fun-filled
finds !
BTW this cache was removed from 8/18 until 8/21 so hopefully nobody looked
during that time.

Hi mitcha3154. Nicely rocked area! Found using Amazingted's numbers. The
cache was somewhat wet inside. I dried it out as best as possible (the
sponge fish soaked up most of the water... I squoze him out )
and the logbook is ok.

This is the cache owner. I remember I was tired back in October when I
planted this cache, so I apologize for the incorrect coordinates. When I
went out there today I also realized that I forgot to mark it's waypoint on
my GPS back when I planted it, so I also had to use the updated coordinates
to find it. I thought this would be an easy one for folks to find, but I'm
the one who hid it and even I had trouble finding it. Don't give up. The
updated coordinates will get you there, and it's in a cool little spot.
Still a pretty good one for kids, since it's not far from the road.
We took a team-in-training bracelet and will make donation and put the
bracelet in another cache.
Took a geocoin as well, which will also be placed in another location.

We finally found this one after two trips. The new updated coordinates were
right on. Thanks to the cacher that updated the coords. We looked for 30
minutes the first time on Thursday, with no luck. We came back armed with
better data and found it immediately. The box was nicely placed. We took the
Caching Around America coin and left a phone card, several trinkits, some
Halloween items and signed the log.

Hats off to Seether for finding this using the posted coordinates. I NEVER
would have found the cache without Seether's coordinates. Mine are 170' from
the posted (averaged about fifty times to 15.5' accuracy). TN Left a pair of
dice and a "Team In Training" bracelet.
BTW. I couldn't imagine that the cache was intended to
be left sitting exposed so I tucked it away a little. Sorry if this is
contrary to the owner's intention.
